This Privacy Policy describes how 1088 Labs LLC ("1088 Labs," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application Javi (the "App").
Information We Collect
Data stored locally on your device
The App stores all your personal data locally on your device. This includes:
- Tasks, projects, and to-do items
- Habits and tracking history
- Calendar events and reminders
- Financial transactions and budgets
- Focus session records
- App preferences and settings
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
AI chat data
When you use the AI Chat feature, your messages are sent to a third-party AI service for processing. This includes your chat messages and conversation context. No personal data from your tasks, habits, or other local data is sent unless you include it in your message.

Analytics data
We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the App. This includes app opens and session duration, feature usage, device type and OS version, and crash reports and error logs. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Data we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact information (unless you contact us for support).
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not collect payment information.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, or other device data.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use analytics data solely to identify and fix bugs, understand which features are most useful, and improve app performance and user experience.
Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of third-party services to provide the App, including an AI service for the chat feature, a crash-reporting service, and an analytics provider. Data Retention
- Local data: stored on your device until you delete it. Uninstalling the App removes all local data.
- Analytics data: retained for up to 12 months, then automatically deleted.
- Crash reports: retained for up to 90 days.
Data Security
Your local data is stored using your device's secure storage mechanisms. We do not have access to your local data. Analytics data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
Your Rights
- Access: view all your data within the App.
- Export: export your data in CSV or JSON format via Settings › Data Management.
- Delete: delete any or all of your data via Settings › Data Management.
- Opt out: disable analytics in the App settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
International Users
If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that analytics data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected; know whether your personal information is sold or disclosed; say no to the sale of personal information; access your personal information; request deletion of your personal information; and receive equal service and price, even if you exercise your privacy rights. If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restricting processing, data portability, and to object. The legal basis for processing your data is your consent and our legitimate interest in improving the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
